Sometimes when you look at SketchUp components, you’ll see white lines when two surfaces meet.  When you make animations, these areas will flicker.  What you are seeing is the inside of the component which is light grey or white through the seam of two faces.  This can be fixed by highlighting the affected area, Right-click to Reverse Faces, paint them a darker color, then while the areas are still highlighted Reverse Faces again. This will greatly improve the look of your images and animations.
